Marino Rewards - Terms & Conditions
Your participation for Marino Rewards loyalty Program will be governed and bound by the following
terms & conditions which are subject to changes from time to time, with or without notice. If
you require any clarification or further information, you may contact the Hotel Reservations
or send an e-mail to marinorewards@marinobeach.com.
General terms
1. Marino Rewards membership and benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Hotel Marino Beach
Colombo (”Marino Beach”). The Hotel is operated under Marino Beach (Pvt.) Ltd, a limited
liability company incorporated in Sri Lanka.
2. The terms and conditions of Marino Rewards loyalty program are governed by the laws of
Sri Lanka. The program Terms and Conditions (TCs) set out herein are subject to changes and
the updated TCs supersede all the prior Terms or Conditions.
3. The Marino Rewards Membership Program has no predetermined period and would continue
until such time as Marino Rewards decides to terminate the rewards system at its sole discretion.
However the members’ rights to enjoy the benefits would continue for twelve months immediately
after Marino Beach announce the program termination.
4. The rules, procedures, conditions or benefits would be subject to addition, deletion or any changes
by the Management with or without notice.
5. Only individuals are eligible for enrollment for Marino Rewards Loyalty Program. Corporations,
Groups or any associations are not permitted to register under this Program.
6. Members are not permitted to maintain multiple accounts and enjoy benefits on such multiple
accounts.
7. Marino Rewards reserves the rights to terminate or discontinue Marino Rewards membership
under circumstances where such member has violated or being noncompliant with the terms
and conditions or upon reasonable grounds that such cancellation is justified including but not
limited to the followings, in its sole discretion.
a. Being inconsistent or acted in a manner violating applicable local and international laws and
regulations.
b. Violating the terms and conditions of the program.
c. Any fraudulent or misconduct behavior or an act in connection with enrollment, participation,
benefits or other related activity.
d. Non-payment of any dues for Hotel reservation or any good or service purchased.
In addition to such termination or discontinuation, Marino Rewards also reserves right to take
appropriate administrative or legal action as it deemed necessary in its sole discretion.
8. This program and these terms and conditions shall be governed by, construed, and interpreted
under the laws of Sri Lanka. In no event shall Marino Beach be liable to any member, or anyone
claiming through a member, for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, or lost revenue
or profits, arising out of acts or omissions in connection with this loyalty program.
19. Member rewards shall not be combined with other packages or promotional offers unless
other wise specified by Marino Rewards.
10. Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash, prizes or any other means and can’t be sold or transferred to any other party.
11. Members are expected to be actively involved in transactions with the Hotel and non-operation of
their accounts for a period of consecutive 12 months are subject to forfeiture of membership
benefits as decided by the management in its sole discretion.
12. Each member is responsible for being knowledgeable on updated terms and conditions, keep
informed the management on changes of their contact information.
13. The program benefits accrued do not constitute property of members and not transferable.
14. Rewards and benefits.
a. Members are provided the applicable rewards/benefits upon stays at Hotel Marino Beach
Colombo (“the Hotel”) and the each applicant for this reward scheme should have stayed
at least one night at the Hotel to become eligible.
b. Eligibility for Upgrading Tier Status.
i. Bronze – from 2 to 9 eligible nights during each calendar year
ii. Silver – from 10 to 24 eligible nights during each calendar year
iii. Gold – from and above 25 eligible nights during each calendar year
c. Only direct bookings and bookings through hotel own website are considered as eligible
nights.
d. Only the stays of member in his name are eligible for the respective benefits. Respective
benefits are accrued from next stay onwards and not transferable to other party.
e. When a member reached a tier limit during a calendar year, such members will be required
to furnish a request to the Hotel via an e-mail to marinorewards@marinobeach.com for
such upgrade.
15. In addition to the stipulated rewards / benefits, the management may provide additional
amenities, priorities and privileges or anyother exclusive for the members where it’s decided by
time to time only on availability and in sole discretion by the management. However members
are not necessarily eligible on such additional extras and not claimable at any circumstances.
